Ong-Bak Chase Scene
This may be the best chase scene everI recently posted a chase scene from "District 13", a French movie, saying that it was one of the better chase scenes. But, it doesn't compare to this scene from the Thai film "Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior". This may be the best chase scene ever, and is a great movie, too.
Amazing chase scene
It is certainly one of the better chase scenes ever made.I love a good foreign film, especially one that encorporates good martial arts, good values, good virtues, and a good story line. Below is a scene from a French film "Banlieue 13" or "District 13" from 2004.
The film is "set in the ghettos of Paris in 2010, an undercover cop and ex-thug try to infiltrate a gang in order to defuse a neutron bomb."
The clip below shows a chase scene from the first few minutes of the movie. It is certainly one of the better chase scenes ever made.
My Favorite Hong Kong Cinema and Martial Arts Movies
I am often recommending Martial Arts and related films to friends and students. Finally, I've devised a list of my top choices of movies from the Chinese / Hong Kong Cinema! Enjoy!
martial arts
Tai Chi is a wonderful practice that promotes health, flexibility, longevity, and moreSince my childhood, I have always been facinated by martial arts and have studied several different martial arts styles throughout my life. As a great fan of Kung Fu and of Chinese traditions, movement and healing arts, I have recently developed a great interest in Kung Fu (gongfu), Tai Chi (taiji), and Chi Kung (qi gong).
Learning Tai Chi has been the most eye-opening of all of the arts. Nearly all of us have seen some person performing this slow, dance-like movement barefoot in a park. Luckily, I have realized, none of us has tried to attack them.
