I am often recommending Martial Arts and related films to friends and students. Finally, I've devised a list of my top choices of movies from the Chinese / Hong Kong Cinema! Enjoy!

Don't forget this amazing flick. I loved how there was no wire work, or at least they did a great job of keeping it as subtle as possible. Tony Jaa is just an amazing artist. Make sure you watch the extras on the DVD. Lots of bad-ass live action stunts from the man himself.
I agree. I just saw Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior last week and dug on it. The plot was a little thin, but it was refreshing to see Muay Thai rather than Kung Fu. Tony Jaa is reminiscent of Jackie Chan in his stunt work and performance, but he exhibits the intensity of Jet Li (not quite a Bruce Lee, though). His flexibility and performance are amazing.
