Walmart's unique business model has made it the number one retailer in the world, and now many other businesses are being forced to adopt the Walmart model in order to compete. But this model is not sustainable and is causing a downward spiral of our economy, making 90% of our population poorer and poorer. It's creating its own customers, the poor who cannot afford to shop elsewhere, but it is simultaneously making us all poorer, until we can no longer afford to shop even there.
